How to Start a Riot
Germany and the United States have two very contrasting recycling systems. Glass in Germany is extensively used; it hardly ever sees a landfill. This is a diagramatic poster exhibiting those differences.
The typeface is constructed out of the background pattern: the infinity symbol. This further emphasizes the theme of the poster, the idea of constant reuse. The shape is also that of two bottles placed next to each other.
The glass bottles stand as iconic representations of these systems. The tick marks represent how many times the bottle is recycled in its respective system.
